SHIPPING

Customers are responsible for all shipping charges FOB Spreading Ink. Spreading Ink takes no responsibility for lost, mis-directed, or late delivery once your order has left our facility. Estimates and quotations do not ordinarily include shipping charges.

OVERRUNS - UNDERRUNS

Orders are subject to a 2% printing error or two shirts per design per
shirt size whichever is greater. All over printing is subject to a 5% printing error rate per total number
of impressions printed. Spreading Ink does not charge for misprinted shirts in your order, but your
order may be shorted or may be delivered with extra garments printed within the above tolerances.
Customer will be charged for delivered shirts; customers will not be charged for misprinted shirts.

If you must have an exact number or match to your order it is highly recommended that you order
extra garments to compensate for allowable misprint rates listed above.

ARTWORK

Artwork charges are due at the time the order for artwork is submitted. All artwork created by Spreading Ink remains the sole property of Spreading Ink and cannot be used without permission. Customers who have artwork created by Spreading Ink are paying for the labor to create the art and the license to use the artwork created exclusively for print jobs ordered from Spreading Ink. Should a customer decide they want to own their artwork outright; an additional fee will apply for the transfer of copyright to the customer.

Customers may submit created artwork to Spreading Ink for use in the creation of their products. All customer supplied artwork is to be provided in one of the following formats: Corel Draw V12, Adobe Illustrator CS2, CS3, CS4, or Photoshop CS2, CS3 or CS4.

Photoshop art is subject to a color separation fee and will be quoted on a per job basis.

All films and screens used in the production of a customer’s order remain the property of Spreading Ink. Spreading Ink agrees to not use customer supplied artwork for any other purpose than the creation of the products ordered by the customer.

PROOFING

Customers are ultimately responsible for insuring their artwork is correct prior to order production. When customers submit their own artwork for an order the artwork will be considered to have been proofed once submitted to Spreading Ink. If artwork submitted is still in draft form, the customer must make Spreading Ink aware that the art provided is not the final artwork for the order, and the order will go on hold until final artwork is approved.

If Spreading Ink creates the artwork for the customer the customer will have an opportunity to proof the art prior to production. Customers should carefully review their graphics and should pay particular
attention to spelling if your graphic incorporates words. If printed colors are critical to your project we recommend that customers verify the colors chosen for print against a Pantone book, proofs against a paper print or computer monitor screen for color cannot be guaranteed.

Once the customer has approved the artwork, Spreading Ink will not be held responsible should the order be completed and later found to have errors due to spelling or other issues when the final product’s graphic matches the customer approved art.

COLOR MATCHING

Pantone colors are an industry standard and as such we expect provided artwork to call out specific pantone colors. Customers who do not specify a specific Pantone Color are subject to our ‘eye’ match, when this is the case, Spreading Ink will not be responsible should the customer not be satisfied with chosen colors.

Water base and discharge inks require more work to match colors and have a higher degree of variation in the accuracy of their Pantone matching formulas.

Please note that color matching is not guaranteed to perfectly match due to a large number of variables which affect color matching. Spreading Ink will make every effort to match your color as close as possible.

FOILING

Spreading Ink can produce designs that have up to one foil color in them. Please note that
foil is a specialty application and we do not guarantee the foil against tarnishing or coming off after repeated washings.

INCONSISTENCIES

Some inconsistencies may occur in registration and ink coverage. Spreading Ink will not be responsible for these inconsistencies when printing across seams and on zippered garments.

ALL OVER PRINTING

Spreading Ink is excited and proud to offer all over printing to our customers.

The following limitations, terms and conditions apply to all over printing:

  1. Artwork must be reviewed prior to final quote on any all over print job. Spreading Ink retains the right to refuse to print any job that in our sole discretion is deemed to be problematic or not produce-able.
Spreading Ink is happy to discuss artwork issues that may affect the final print with customers,
if you have a specific question about your artwork, please ask.
  2. All over prints are rarely perfect – as such the standard for misprints with all over shirts is different than a standard screen print the following applies:
    1. Butt registration of multi color artwork is not guaranteed. Spreading Ink is very good at holding close registration on all over prints and most gaps from registration issues will typically be 1/16th of an inch or less. Gaps of up to 1/8 inch in butt registration can happen and will not be considered misprints.
    2. Large areas of solid color may have an ink deposit or build up on them over a run if that part of the design is over a seam of the garment. Additionally large areas of solid ink coverage will cause any crease or fold in the garment that did not print to show gaps in ink coverage more prominently. While Spreading Ink makes ever effort to insure that the garments are flat when printing all over prints, creases and folds of less than 3 inch length and ¼” wide should be expected and are not considered misprints.
    3. Ink coverage can vary from garment to garment and vary as the print goes over seams and collars.
While Spreading Ink takes every effort to minimize any flaws in our prints, the issues listed
here are representative of standard inconsistencies seen in all over prints and should be
expected; as such, we cannot guarantee them from being in the final product.
  3. All over printing is done with water base or discharge inks standard. Expect that colors may be more muted than a standard plastisol print and white discharge may be more of a ‘creamy’ white than a true bright white as this is standard with discharge white inks. For more information on color matching please refer to that section.
  4. We have templates which we can provide for all over prints which show the garment layouts for several popular shirt brands in order to help with artwork layout. These are available to our customers free of charge, but the templates are the sole property of Spreading Ink and are not to be forwarded.

CANCELLATIONS

Accepted quotations and orders are not cancelable after deposit has been made
unless all details are agreed upon in writing by both parties, including buyer’s agreement to assume a
stated amount of termination charges. Termination charges will be based on the amount of work
performed by Spreading Ink to fill the customers order.

RETURNS

All customers are responsible for inspecting their orders upon delivery; any order that
has been delivered for more than 48 hours is not subject to return. All returned orders are subject to
inspection by Spreading Ink before credit will be allowed. No goods are returnable unless damaged by
Spreading Ink, and prior arrangements need to be made before shipping an order back. Return
shipping is the sole responsibility of the customer. If Spreading Ink determines the order was faulty
Spreading Ink reserves the right to reprint the order or issue the customer a credit for the order.
Refunds will not be issued on customized products.

Spreading Ink reserves the right to change prices and/or terms without notice.
