Your Art, Copyright, and Intellectual Property Laws

A word about copyright and intellectual property laws and your art...

At Spreading Ink our company and industry is largely dependent upon graphics to produce the products we manufacture. We are committed to upholding the laws in place to protect your art and that of others. While we do not expect all of our customers to necessarily fully understand copyright and intellectual property laws, and we are not lawyers, we do take copyright and intellectual property laws seriously.

Spreading Ink will not knowingly print images which are protected by copyright or intellectual property laws without documentation from the customer which shows they either have a right to use the images, or have a contractual licensing agreement with the copyright holder to use protected images for the production of your shirts or clothing line. Any submission for printing company logo's or artwork submitted must be accompanied by authorization from the customer that shows they are entitled to print the design or subject or if they are not the copyright holder that they are licensed to do so by the original copyright holder of the design or logo. If, in Spreading Ink's sole determination, we feel that your artwork infringes upon the copyright or intellectual property of another, we may decline to print your images or request that you modify the artwork in question.

Additionally, by submitting your artwork to us, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Spreading Ink harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or relating to your use of Spreading Ink's website and our services offered herein, or your violation of any rights of another.
